Managed IT Support

A helpdesk that answers, and proactive care for every laptop, server and licence in your business — for a flat monthly fee, not a surprise invoice.

The deal

A flat monthly fee per seat. Your staff get a helpdesk that picks up. Your infrastructure gets watched, patched and backed up. Your business stops having an IT budget that spikes every time something breaks.

What "managed" means here

Reactive. Someone cannot print, Outlook is broken, a laptop will not boot. Phone, email or portal — a human replies, and it is the same handful of humans, so they know your setup.

Proactive. Patches applied on a schedule. Disks, backups, certificates and services monitored. Failing hardware replaced before it fails. Licences reviewed so you stop paying for the twelve accounts belonging to people who left.

Administrative. Staff onboarded with the right accounts on day one, and offboarded completely on their last day — which is the single most commonly botched security control in New Zealand small business.

Why flat fee

Because hourly billing means we make more money when your IT is bad, and that is a stupid incentive to put between us. On a flat fee, every hour we spend fixing your environment properly is an hour we do not have to spend on it again next month. Our interests and yours point the same direction.

Frequently asked

How fast do you respond?

Same business day for standard issues. One hour, 24/7, for a P1 — meaning the business cannot work. Those are the numbers in the contract, not aspirations on a website.

Is it really unlimited?

Yes for support. Project work — a migration, an office move, a new system — is quoted separately, and we will tell you which bucket something is in before we start it, not after.

Do we still need an internal IT person?

Often not, under about 40 staff. Above that, our usual model is that we run the infrastructure and the after-hours load, and your internal person does the things that need to be in the building.

What is "proactive" actually doing?

Patching before an exploit lands, watching disks before they fill, catching a failing drive before it takes the array, and noticing the backup that quietly stopped running three weeks ago. Most of our value is in tickets you never got to raise.
