The layer nobody thinks about until it breaks
Switches, firewalls, servers, storage, Wi-Fi, cabling, the UPS in the cupboard. It is invisible right up to the morning it isn't, and then it is the only thing anyone can talk about.
We design and build that layer so it does not have a single point of failure that surprises you, and we monitor it so we usually know before you do.
What a typical build includes
- Network. Segmented, so a compromised laptop cannot reach your finance server. Managed switching, sensible VLANs, Wi-Fi that actually reaches the warehouse.
- Compute. Physical or virtualised hosts sized for what you run, with the headroom to survive one of them dying.
- Edge. A firewall that is configured, licensed and patched — not a consumer router with the default password still on it.
- Continuity. Backups running to more than one place, with restores tested on a schedule and the report emailed to you.
Documentation is part of the job
Every engagement ends with an up-to-date diagram, an asset register, and credentials in a vault you control. If you ever fire us, you can hand that to the next provider and they will be productive on day one. We think that is the right incentive for us to be under.
